Here in Urbana, nothing really happens much. Usually, people just go about their normal days, shopping, hanging out, working, and just doing nothing. However, things have been shaken up. I'm not talking about the chick who had her fingers cut off and her legs shipped to Kentucky. I'm talking about the Triad Incident, which is what I will nickname it for now.
There was a kid going to Triad that had been bullied a incredibly large amount of times. He became distressed, troubled, and overall depressed, which shouldn't happen to a child. Unfortunatly, the kid didn't see any choices other than the unfortunate one he made. He had commited suicide.
Here's the retarded point in this tragic event. The Triad school that he had went to said that he commited suicide because of something else, not bullying, because they have a "Zero Tolerance Policy" on bullying, the same as my school.
It's really dumb how these people just blame it on something else because they say that they don't tolerate it, when they actually do absolutly nothing about it! I've seen bullies at my school, I've been bullied before, and my dad told the principal. Excuse me for my language, but she didn't do !@#$. There has been absolutly nothing done to the bullies except for when I pointed them out as bullies on Facebook, and tagged one of them in the post, who told the rest of them about it.
People sicken me. They really do.
